A REFUGE IN THE SIBILLINI MOUNTAINS
The Rifugio Agrimusicismo of Montegallo, in the province of Ascoli Piceno, in the heart of the Sibillini Mountains is open all year round as a tobacconist's bar offering the opportunity to spend a happy "pit stop" to all mountain lovers. Its proximity to the paths makes it perfect for starting daily excursions and able to offer pleasant moments of relaxation even outside of meals. Even if the restaurant is closed, a platter of cold cuts and cheeses or a sandwich are always available for a snack. A phone call is always recommended.
After your walks and relaxation in the meadows, the paths and along the nearby streams, you can lie down in the sun, walk in the woods, enjoy the view of the valley, which on clear days reaches all the way to the sea, dominated by the peaks of Monte Vettore behind you ; in good weather you can dedicate yourself to collecting wild herbs, blackberries, rose hips, mushrooms and chestnuts (for a fee, ask us where).
Our refuge offers you a bar for aperitifs, breakfasts and snacks, homemade liqueurs and desserts, platters, sandwiches and salads. The outdoor area of our refuge in the Sibillini Mountains has games for children, hammocks and deckchairs, a bonfire area, two barbecues available for guests, benches and pick nic tables and hot showers (free),
In the evening you can sit around the bonfire and look at the stars: we like to give people the opportunity to get to know each other and exchange their life and travel stories, advice and directions on routes, drink a bitter together, get involved in a cantata with the guitar or listen to the silence of the mountains and the crackling of the fire together!
